If you have any Cold or Flu like symptoms, please phone the clinic and you will be screened prior to entering the clinic.

Our patient feedback survey results are back, the areas identified for improvement are listed below along with our ongoing strategies to overcome these issues;

- You are not able to see a Doctor quickly when you need to

We have appointments set aside that will be used by our Triage Nurse for urgent requests.  Once these have been used they will offer the next available appointment, or if needing attention same day we refer to the Leongatha Urgent Care Centre.  Recruitment and retention of additional doctors would increase appointment availability, but this has been an ongoing issue for Rural General Practices for many years.

- Appointments don’t always run on time

We endeavour to notify patients when they attend for their appointment of any current wait times and continue to keep them updated. It is very hard for our Reception team to predict how long a consult will take as they are unaware of the complexities of each consult. We do recommend that patients book long appointments if attending for complex or multiple issues.

- You are not always able to see the Doctor of your choice, or book an appointment at a day and time that suits you

If you have an upcoming appointment but would like to get in sooner with that particular Doctor, please ask the Reception staff to add you to the cancellation wait list in the event an appointment becomes available.
